I recently visited the Tate Modern in London and enjoyed the Yoko Ono exhibition.
Not all of her work is to my taste, but I admire her prolific experimentation in different media over a long career. I am certain her contribution to ‘the arts’ has inspired many other artists and musicians.
Now aged 91 she is still creating and this latest piece ‘Add colour (Refugee boat)’ was produced by attendees at the show adding marks and writing in blue crayon and ink pen. I thought the resulting piece in the gallery was very effective.
