I throughly enjoy walking on the coast and beaches of Northumberland. There is always something new to discover. The colours, textures, and light levels constantly change, making for fantastic views and finds.
It reminds me that some of the most dramatic mark-making occurs in nature. In the case of the beach shoreline, the ‘canvas’ is in a constant state of flux and renewal – I find that inspiring.
